Grain Sack Pillows from Provence

Bon jour friends, family and one or two people that I don't know yet!

So I spent yesterday going through the linens and grain sacks I brought back from France.  From a wonderful vendor at the Brocante Market in L'Isle sur la Sorgue, I was able to purchase three pillows that she made from monogrammed grain sacks.  Again, I love the look of the totally unexpected grain sack surrounded by more formal decorative pieces.  I pretended that I was going to keep the three pillows for myself yesterday, bought the pillow inserts for them, and took pictures of the them working their decorative magic in my great room. (Do you notice the still yet un-upholstered French Fauteuil chair in front of the fireplace?  Too many projects - too little time.)

I especially love the "M" "E" Monogram.  It works for everyone!

They look great used on the patio also!

More ready to be used for upholstery or pillows.

I'm having so much fun.............this can't be work!

Enjoy yourself today.  Have a few minutes of fun.  Laugh a little.

Au revoir! Mitty
